Following a triumphant sold-out performance at Manchester’s Castlefield Bowl at the weekend, acclaimed Irish rock band The Saw Doctors are thrilled to announce a UK tour with shows in Liverpool’s O2 Academy on November 9th, Leeds O2 Academy on November 14th and Wolverhampton Civic Hall on November 15th to go along with the headline London gig at Eventim Apollo in Hammersmith on October 31st.

For the UK winter dates, the eight-piece Saw Doctors are delighted to welcome back founding band member, Pearse Doherty, who brings his talents on bass guitar, vocals, penny whistle and wooden flute. The band’s core songwriting duo, Davy Carton (lead vocals) and Leo Moran (electric guitar), will be joined by longtime members Rickie O’Neill (drums), Kieran Duddy (keyboards and accordion) and Tommy Carton (backing vocals). Rounding out the impressive lineup are acclaimed musicians Anthony Thistlethwaite (saxophone, formerly of The Waterboys) and Noelie McDonnell (guitar and backing vocals, The Whileaways).
